Outstanding ! I highly commend seller for using very adequate packing for a beautiful brand new book that is hardcover. Many sellers & companies today use a thin plastic bag or a barely padded envelope that does not protect book corners. Seller used a cardboard box plus bubble wrap around book. It arrived in perfect condition. It is an important book and author and deserves good treatment. Shipping was fast and description was true and correct. Thank you for a great product and purchase.

NEW Genuine Crown Royale 1959 Cadillac Landau Hearse, Model #PMSC-01B 1:18 scale
29 Jan, 2020
Classic Hearse, Classic Model
The 1959 Superior Crown Royale hearse on that year’s Cadillac commercial chassis is usually number one on the want list of every collector of old “professional cars,” as such vehicles are known to insiders. The reason is obvious: it’s a 1959 Caddie, with those giant fins and that massive stance. Even with a hearse body it somehow manages to be cool. This model of that hearse was made in the 1980s by the long-defunct Precision Miniatures company. It is in 1:18 scale and made of die cast zinc and plastic. The front doors open to reveal a nicely done interior and the rear “servicing door” opens to a detailed interior with the casket rails, etc. The rear and side windows have tied-back curtains and the model comes with a casket and church truck. These models came in several colors. Mine is the classic black and I was lucky to find one with a perfect paint job and the glued plastic parts are neatly assembled. My only caution is to look closely at the photos of any one of these models you may be considering. Fit and finish is uneven and unpredictable. If you get a good one it is a gem, but there are not so good ones out there as well. Look closely and ask questions before you buy.
CHET ATKINS: ME AND MY GUITARS (RUSS COCHRAN BOOKS) *Excellent Condition*

Superb book on Chet and his favorite guitars
In this book legendary guitar wizard Chet Atkins uses the guitars he played through the years to tell the story of his life and career. Chet is a great storyteller and he has quite a story to tell. From a poor boy in Tennessee he grew into a guitarist whose virtuosity and creativity on the instrument made him a star, first in Nashville and later all over the world. The milestone guitars photographed lovingly for this big glossy book are in most cases the very ones he played, and serve as milestones along his career path. From Sears Silvertone to Gibson L5 to D’Angelico Excel to his namesake Gretsch instruments and back to Gibson again, with lots of diversions along the way, Chet made each guitar speak his own special musical language. If you love guitars or if you just want to read a great book by and about a great musician, pick this one up- you’ll love it.
MAGIC MOTORS1930, BROOKS. T. BRIERLY

Classic cars of the thirties as they looked then
This is a small but remarkable book. The cars of the “Classic Era” (approximately the years between the World Wars) are usually seen today fully restored- and all too often over-restored- in various museums and Coucours de Elegance such as Pebble Beach. By going back to contemporary photos Brierly shows these cars as they were then. They got muddy just like our cars, and the chrome didn’t always burn the retinas like it does now. It’s actually refreshing to see cars presented as objects to be used rather than icons to be worshipped. The text is full of fascinating data on ownership patterns and the problems of selling high-priced cars during a depression, when even the 1% was careful with money and worried about how it looked to drive one of the most luxurious machines in the world past a bread line. A fascinating book that belongs in any car library.
