Readily falls apart
useless as the main body easily unscrews from the chain anchor ring. Wear the chain around your neck (as presumably intended) and as you walk along the main body of the whistle unscrews and when you come to use it its fallen off somewhere!!!!! Found it on first occasion it happened but second time (after I was certain I had tightened it as much as I could) when I arrived at the field all I was left with was the chain. metal ring and small threaded section. I bought another whistle that has a metal sleeve connecting the body of the whistle to the chain. This works great .it forms a secure housing for the whistle which can be removed from the housing or used in situ whilst attached to the neck chain.
