Angelic Voice Meets Great Songs
In my mind Sarah Brightman's voice is one of the loveliest out there and this CD does not disappoint. It starts out with "Phantom of the Opera" which gets the heart pumping in anticipation of upcoming songs, maybe even with a few tears thrown in awe of the beauty and emotions stirred up. The next three tunes I wasn't familiar with but definitely a pleasure to listen to. Then we come to a couple songs from "Evita" with Sara's highly satisfying rendition. The album continues with one enjoyable listen after another with only a couple songs that I typically skip over—"Gus:" and "Macavity:". The CD concludes with engaging renditions of "Pie Jesu" and "The Music of the Night" to complete a highly satisfying listening session.

Ultimately it worked. Yay!
1 of 1 found this helpful Unexpectedly this Mac OS 10.6 DVD didn't boot on my MacBook Pro laptop. However I was able to boot in safe mode from a back up drive which had the same corruption as my hard drive (shift key for safe mode, and option key, or system preferences/startup disk to select the backup drive) and then the DVD did work to replace the operating system on my laptop hard drive. From there running a couple cycles of the Apple menu's Software Update finished bringing my system back to 10.6.8 without loosing any of my files. I'd saved my Chrome bookmarks html file but only half reimported back into Chrome but at least I have the html file which is easy to access if I need them. So I am very happy with the results even though I needed to use a work around.
