Good baby gate without the trip hazard!
I really like this new baby gate we put up as I was constantly bashing my toes on our old one. It's good value for money and pretty easy to put up. The mechanism is a bit fiddly when closing, as you have to push and hold the release while pulling the gate out. Also it is quite noisy when you release it to close when it winds back in, not great if you have a sleeping baby and you let it go by accident! But even though I still find it much better than a regular stair gate.
