New Spare Soldering Iron Fit 48W 24V Watt Solder Stations Duratool Mercury 4 PIN
30 Nov, 2017
It successfully revived a dead soldering station!
The original iron failed after a few years and left me with a non-working soldering station to which I had become quite attached! It was a great relief to find a source of spares, so I bought two and the first of them is still working fine.
Draper Stright Tyre Pressure Gauge [51536] 6 - 50 PSi

it just doesn't work!
It's hopelessly inconsistent. You can measure the same tyre three times and get three widely-different results. It's just awful quality!
Cathedral A3 A4 A5 Precision Rotary Guillotine Paper Photo Trimmer Cutter Ruler

It's badly designed
It's well-built and sturdy but quite fiddly to use. The roller presses down (necessarily) on the clear plastic strip that you press on to old the paper in place. To get the paper underneath the plastic strip you have to push the roller to one end or the other, and even then it can be difficult to get the paper under the strip. This is particularly the case if you're using a full A4 sheet and want to cut it vertically, because inevitably one end or other of the sheet is close to the roller which presses the plastic strip hard against the base and won't allow the paper to slide between them. It would be helpful if the plastic strip had a small vertical handle attached to its central curved section. You would then be able to lift it to get the paper underneath. I managed to improve things by sliding a paper clip under each end of the plastic strip to lift it slightly from the base. Once the paper is in place, the machine cuts cleanly and accurately.
