A long-running well made engine.
The product was made of an early plastic, which in the main has survived many a knock. With a range of colours, they have proved to be popular with rail modellers, the simple but hard -working motors and well designed working parts offer easy servicing. Now replaced by the better known manufacturers with modern motors and parts, they seem to remain popular, well supported by a number of specialists, enabling modellers to use old parts for renovation instead of disposal.
Recommended.

Magic ballast
I'd never tried anything like this before - thanks to the internet, all was revealed. Numerous sites on how to make real trees, using wire - excellent. Plus sea foam.
The powder glue plus a water spray produce beautiful trees from sea foam, the kids were amazed too. The same will apply when I finalise the wire trees base with liquid rubber solution.
The spray is fine , in both ways, and gentle shaking as indicated in guidelines gives a great realism. Hopefully I can apply the trees and bushes to the layout in a natural looking way.

Lightweight yet secure device for small fiddly joining jobs or painting small items.
Brilliant idea! All elements are readily adjustable whether components for adjustment attached or not.The base is a good weight to secure whilst working, though I have yet to find a way to secure it to the workplace surface if needed.
The crocodile clips are very firm to hold items for solder or paint, or balancing an item ,and the screw fittings give considerable scope to change approach to jobs.
