Excellent clear read
Very good and clear exposition of the theistic argument. If you want to find out why atheists don't have all the answers, this is a good place to start.

Excellent counter to the dominant take on the nature of mind in philosophy
Prof Feser presents a much-needed counter-view to the prevalent materialist/reductive/eliminatist philosophy of mind now dominant in the field. Even if you are a Churchland fan, you need to be able to counter his arguments.

One of the best philosophy intros
This is one of the best beginner's introduction to philosophy. Brian Magee is a very clear and accessible writer. It is historically, rather than topic-based - and all the better for that since it tells us why the great thinkers of history were so bothered about philosophical problems in the first place. It is worth buying even if you only read the sections about Descartes, Hume, Locke, Berkeley and Kant. But do read the rest.
