40W CO2 USB Laser Engraver Cutter Engraving Cutting Machine Laser Printer

40W CO2 Laser

Ok, this is a very good Engraver/Cutter, and I'm very happy with it. But if you think it's going to work straight from the box then you'll be pretty fed up. Hopefully the makers will address the problems, and things will be better. Ok, so what's the problems. 1) The screws had fallen off the 'Y' access End Stop Switch (they are M4 BTW and about 5mm long. It wouldn't be a big problem, but to replace them (I fitted 10mm new replacements with Nyloc Nuts) requires the machine to be stripped down to get at them. 2) because of the stripdown, the mirrors all needed re-aligning, and were given a good clean just because they were grubby. 3) The CD software works, but there's no manual. If you look around on the Web there's plenty of info. The Seller, does his best to assist BTW. I'm happy with them and the product....It works perfectly once repaired. Don't forget that the machine has traveled half way around the world to get here. So minor problems were expected. So the screws were nothing unexpected, just difficult to get at. If you have used a 3D printer, then the repairs are familiar to you. Running the machine is a whole lot easier than a 3D printer. Ok, so marks out of Ten..... Build Quality.... 9/10 Design..... 8/10 (Only loosing the 2 because of the poor design of the 'Y' access End Stop) Ease of use.....9/10 (It really is easy, but needs a Good Manual). Packaging......10/10 (A cardboard box, inside a cardboard box, and enough Foam to insulate a shed roof...). I'm Very Happy with the product.. And well worth the price... Have a good day......

A Nice little Heat Engine that WORKS!!!!

Out of the packaging it worked first time when put together. It's fairly well made, but the Flywheel tends to wobble as it's running where it's not quite pressed on straight. Other than that it's all good. It is quite powerful for it's size, and for entertainment could use a rubber band as a drive belt to drive something. I'm very pleased with the purchase and it was worth the long wait due to to the slow postage. Am tempted to buy another.

Magnatec Oil

It works well, seems to do what it claims on the can, and is my Oil by choice in the future. The only downside is it's high price. But if it does the job it states it will do then it will pay for it's self in due course.... :)
