It seems to work - may need to calibrate it a bit
It's functioning well so far (2 weeks in). Have used the sticky tabs it came with but cleaned the area (outside window) with rubbing alcohol first. Still hanging there. Adjusted the temp indicator using another (more trusted) thermometer as a reference - quite sensitive so need to be gentle with the screwdriver. Checked a couple of 3 times and it's within 0.5 to 1 degree still and holding. It wont be exact unless you want to spend more time with that screw driver. Found that reading the needle from outside shows a different temp than reading it from inside -assume due to the circular lines on the outside perspex holder (odd tho). So Adjust/calibrate it by reading the needle from inside the house not outside (a bit of a hassle perhaps)...
