Mistral's Kiss by Laurell K. Hamilton (2006)
i have read an bought all the "merry gentry" series and eagerly awaited the arrival of this one - however i did feel that maybe the writer was getting bored as it was a lot shorter than previous books and didnt go into nearly half as much detail as i'd have liked, it was mostly just one sex scence blending into another, i will confess myself sorely disappointed and i only hope miss hamilton was simply setting the groundwork for a next more plot driven future book about merrys exploits and problems within the unseelie court

the first snow of winter
this is a really beautiful kids film with the usual themes and morals , however don't be discoraged as it is done with enough finesse to keep the hard hearted interested as we all wanna know what happens to the wee duckling,it is very touching and anyone who cried when bambi's mum got shot will feel a lump in their troat at this one too -but for happy reasons rather than sad , however for me it's the light moments that sold it and made it one of my kids favorites as the duckling is taught to irish dance by a beaver and all the sheep join in, just listen to the kids giggles when they spot the sheeps ears flapping!!!! worth watching and not too long at just over half an hour pefect for keeping those wandering attention spans while you get on with making dinner! lol
