OK fo occasional use.
OK for the price but doesn't compare to the Shubb capo it copies. The curve isn't quite right and I found it fiddle to get all strings sounding cleanly. I'll keep it a back-up but I've ordered an original Shubb which is well worth an extra tenner or so.

Happy to use this on my well-loved guitars.
A really nice product. You can get better tools but at a much higher cost, which I personally could only justify if I was working as a luthier and fret-dressing scores of guitars. I've been happy to use this on my own guitars and the results are fine. Good frets make playing so much more enjoyable!
Beware of cheaper files which have a series of ridges along their grooves. You'll spend ages polishing out the damage and scratching they leave behind. With a light touch this file does a great job.

A certain fix you can use with confidence on quality equipment.
I have some pretty pricey electric guitars, amplifiers and studio equipment and I'm nervous about fixing the crackles and scratchiness that develops over time with knobs and switches. I wouldn't trust anything other than Servisol for maintaining my gear. Always works, never causes a problem.
