Is cast iron the righ name?
The adjustable vent looks more flimsy than the old version. That was cast iron, this isn't. The main drawback in my view is that the current grid that charcoal rests on is also not cast iron and the spacing between the bars is very wide and can allow smaller pieces of charcoal to drop through. Fortunately, I still have the previous cast iron version, corroded and broken, but placed on top made it better to use.
