Yamaha HTR-5590 A/V Receiver Audio Video Tested and Works - No Remote

Yamaha HTR 5590 stereo/home theater receiver, still one of the best.

Has held up well for a 13 yr. old stereo receiver. A good testimony to the quality of electrical engineering and manufacturing by Yamaha. I would put this receiver up against anything manufactured today. I was lucky to find one that wasn't abused and still in good condition. You have to shop very carefully when looking for used stereo components.. I bought this Yamaha HTR 5590 because I already owned one that I bought new in 2003 and have been very pleased with its continued good sound and reliability after 13 yrs. This one will be the cornerstone for a stereo component system that I am putting together for my son.

A musical blast from the past, for older americans like me !!!

Great old time music CD. Now one of my favorite music CDs. It has a lot more on it than just banjos. A wonderful blend of many old time sounding instruments, with a tuba carrying the rhythm and beat of the music. It includes about 40 years of American old time musical favorites. If you like old American standards in musical tunes you will love this album by The Banjo Barons.
