1978
3 of 4 found this helpful 77 and 78 are arguably the best show years of the Dead. 1972, 1983, and
the early 90's are also cherry....all revolving around Jerry's health; but 77 and
78 are the best......with the finest versions of Eyes of the World, and Scarlet Begonias
ever recorded. you cant go wrong with this one....and a particular concert, date out
of the blue, that I had not specifically heard before.

Phil @ Essex Junction
1 of 1 found this helpful ive got a number of the new Dead, and Ratdog official boot shows. But this was the
first Phil and Friends disc; terrific band, terrific show...and Joan Osborn on lead vocals
is first rate. I just wonder if the song mix varies between shows much, will have to look
into that....but this particular show is sweet.

good recording.....aging musicians. stick to live in the 70's
good recording,,,,,but performance is a little geriatric. they are aging rockers, after all.
worth having, but doesn't compare to live CSNY from the 70'. think 4 way street.
