Straight forward installation - wifi signal a bit weak
I took a long time researching this kit before buying it. I am glad I did. The installation is quite simple following the instructions contained in the box and on the App. My only gripe is that the wifi signal from the Wiser control box is quite weak. It will talk to the thermostatic rads valves up to about 15m way but if you put a brick wall along the way then you might have some issues. The Wiser Plug is meant to sought this problem out but they are quite expensive. If you are installing this is a large older property or across more than 2 floors then I would budget for a couple of Wiser plugs too.
The App is easy to use.
I did not need to change any of the wiring for the hot water control. It does not need a wireless cylinder thermostat- despite what the manufacturers tech support team might tell you.
Thermostatic rad valve heads fitted easily to the various makes of rad valve fitted in my house (mix of Honeywell, Myson, drayton and Peglar valves).
The room stat is quite small and “iPhone” like in its design. Looks good on the wall and is simple to use.
It is early days but so far I would recommend this product as a lower cost way of getting a smart central heating system with separate control of each room.

Nokia 6280
This phone came to me unlocked so it can be used on any network, which is always a big benefit. It looks good, feels well made and slides smoothly. It has all the features you could ever need. What else would you want from a phone?
