Nokia 8310 retro classic
I just wanted to say that this is such an excellent phone but with a couple of faults that hasn't been a problem with my other (a lot older) Nokia phones. I've had my phone for less than a week now, so I guess I shouldn't be judging so early, but I've always had Nokia phones so I think I adjust to them quite quickly. The Bad Points: Really quiet, weird ringtones!!! Most of the good, strong tones have been taken out and replaced with these strange new ones that sound like there is something wrong with the phone. The tones are really soft too, so if you are in a busy place, you'll probably feel it vibrating rather than the actual ring. Also, the buttons are pretty loose. I'm not sure if it's only my phone, but the buttons feel rather insecure as does the cover - it doesn't bother me as the keypad and the covers (which will cost you a little bit) are interchangeable, so it has a less solid feel compared to my older phones. The Good Points: Excellent radio, I thought that it would be really very rubbish, but when you have good reception, sound quality is crystal clear! (heh, I am SO hilariously funny. just nod and ignore me for now) It's sooo small!!!!!!! It's so cute and tiny! The games may be a bit hard to play as the buttons are so small and dainty, but text messaging and dialing isn't too bad. Which brings me to another point, Nokias have good reception always!! There are so many other features that I haven't mentioned, but are useful, (such as calender and calculator, but I've said too much so maybe it's best to stop). Overall, this is a brilliant phone and I hope it doesn't let me down like the some of the other reviews say! If you get a later version of the model (like me) software faults etc shouldn't bother you too much. It's a shame that this product have been discontinued, if it had a colour screen and a camera, this would be the BEST phone!!!
