Tragedy

What a tragic yet determined story. After reading the Tattooist of Auchwitz, and first meeting Cilka, then the relief of her liberation for a few short days, before being herded once again on a cattle truck, treated just as badly all over again and being transported and humiliated in a Russian labour camp for being a German collaborator, along with hundreds of other women and men. Her brave story of how she survived this is truly harrowing. But deserves to be read.

Huge book

What a huge book, for an amazing price. Love Joe Pickett and his adventures with his mate Nate Romanowski. Who would have thought a game Warden could get into so many situations. Just about read all of this series, well written, beautifully described scenery in the Big Horns and Wyoming. Really happy to buy a pre loved book. Makes me feel happier about recycling ♻. Joe has a wonderful family and his wife Mary Beth is his right hand woman, always able to seek out information on the Internet.

Exciting read

As always, Joe Pickett books have plenty of twists and turns. Joe gets himself into some tricky situations, but always seems to come good in the end. He's a man with a conscience and sense of duty and loyalty. A supportive family and a off the grid friend Nate.
