Really good (& subtle) upgrade to LED side repeaters. No complaints at all!
Hi,
As seen in the ad, these are cheap and cheerful. However, they perform slightly better than the original (amber) 501 repeater bulbs removed. Good thing about these is they are low profile, so fit into my slim/flush side repeaters well. They have a chip on all four sides, plus one on top, so they should benefit any configuration of lens they're put in too.
They are only fractionally brighter than the original bulb, but when you're only looking from one angle, you're not physically seeing all the chips, so overall, I'd say they have to be brighter; and that'll be more evident in the dark.
They only operate one way round, so try both ways before returning, and in my 2008 Kia Carens, they returned no error codes at all, so all good.
I can't speak for longevity, but the fact they're exposed, (i.e. not sealed in anyway), means I'm relying on the bulb holder and side repeater staying water tight to an extent. The only other observation is the colour - which exactly matches the existing indicators and is simply a perfect amber. All in all, if they last, a good worthwhile purchase.

Underrated for the price.
Big Ram & Big memory. Not expandable and not waterproof. No jack socket but good processor and decent photos.

Good quality
1 of 1 found this helpful At this price mark the product rocks all the boxes. Well designed and assembled and tempered glass lids are a great asset.
Lid handle is fine but plastic grommet/spacer/washer is a little cheap & made me cautious to tighten too much but overall quite impressed & pleased. Good buy.
