EXCELLENT MODEL

Not only is this model glorious looking but it also runs fantastic, One of my tests for all of my loco's is to see how many and how well they pull the pullman coaches, My older King would pull 3 before wheel slip occurred this new version will pull six with no issue but only on the flat, This is where my only gripe if I had one would be had they had traction tyres like the early DCC ready castles then there would be no issue pulling up realistic incline,s. Proof for this is in the fact that my Hornby 14xx with traction tyres will pull 9 pullman coaches with no issue. There needs to be traction tyres fitted to the rear wheel set of loco,s then not only will they look glorious but will run 100%.

Gaugemaster DCC26 8 Pin DCC 4 Function Small Decoder

WOULD NOT USE IN OO GAUGE

I have used most decoders out there but had not tried the Gaugemaster ones so I ordered some DCC26 and 27 so far I have only received the DCC26 decoders and to be honest I would not use these in OO gauge I find them to be jerky and quite often will stall until you lower the speed or increase, They sometimes fail to respond at all. I am hoping the DCC 27 are better.
