Disappointing for the money
I was expecting something of higher quality for the £250 paid for four chairs. The powder-coated steel frames are well finished, but the wooden slats were neither well sanded nor properly varnished giving them a rough texture. It appeared that only a thin, "watered-down" wash of varnish had been used.
The slats are secured to the frames with bolts that are too long and protrude so much from the backs that they present a hazard to clothing and unprotected skin of anyone passing too close. I have cut these protrusions off with an angle grinder to prevent accidents. The countersink holes in the slats are not the same depth meaning that the bolt heads recess to different depths.
I would suggest that the manufacturer exercise some quality control over the wooden components, improve the quality of the varnish on the slats and use shorter bolts with cap nuts to prevent damage or injury.

Amstrad DRX200 Satellite Receiver - Live and Learn
These early digiboxes are probably coming to the end of their service lives - Amstrad was never a brand famous for its quality or reliability - and this one certainly lived down to expectations. Not only did the unit not work, but neither did the remote control. Having bought it for £8 (£7 of which was for postage), it wasn't worth the hassle of sending it back to the guy who flogged it to me in the first, so I have put it in the bin and bought another make.
