good stretch and compression, easy on-off could be a little bit bigger midfoot forefoot coverage
nice well made item, great quality neoprene with good stretch, I wish these had more midfoot-forefoot coverage as they get too tight right over the top of the foot under where your laces tie putting pressure on a major foot artery (dorsalis pedis). Otherwise a quality item for a great price. Provides good padding for use under other braces like hardshells and articulating air-cast versions. Good compression but not too tight.

A build flaw with early separation of the handle segments on two consecutive rods
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this same 3 rod pack several months ago. The rods are nice and light and very strong. Before buying them I was not aware that the line guides are tiny, maybe 3-4mm each opening. Not a problem, just an unexpected fact of the design. The only problem encountered was that, within about two months of weekly use, two of the rods had glue failure in the handles, where the handle sections separated where the index-finger trigger meets the soft padded part of the handle -- two rods, two months same exact failure. Problem easy enough to fix with a few drops of glue and 5 minutes of drying time. The third rod has not been fished yet but I will be wary of that problem and keep some gorilla glue in the truck. Just did not expect something like this on Zebco's upscale level gear.
The rods can definitely throw just about any reasonable weight of terminal tackle or lure for a fairly good distance with how fast line comes off the reel as the only limiting factor. I have one set up with a Zebco 33 gold spincast reel and 10# mono and the other rigged with a light baitcaster and 20# braided line and both work fine so far.

Extremely nice kit with bonus surprises
Not only does this kit come with all the things described but I also discovered a pair of corks to replace worn corks in the spit valves of older horns, two different sizes.
