Cheap, cheerful but surprisingly good overall
1 of 1 found this helpful Great value for a complete polytunnel greenhouse, all steel frame and steel click in joints not plastic so should be more durable.
Is it going to stand up to a hurricane? No it’s fairly lightweight but it’s large and airy a perfect seasonal starter poly tunnel for tomatoes and similar vegetables and fruits that can be quickly dismantled at the end of the growing season and stored until next year

You get what you pay for but its a great flash for the money.
3 of 3 found this helpful Bought this to do close up macro photography on an amatuer basis, its not by any means a Canon dedicated flash as in it is not controlled or programmed by the cameras automatic functions and settings, it basically fires when you take a shot and thats it as far as sychronisation goes, however there are a fair set of options and power settings manually available on the flash unit itself.
The basic unit is well made and comprehensive and works fine at the level it was bought for the controls are well laid out and easily operated and after a few trial and error shots to get the balance and power right it was soon producing excellent results, is this as good as an OEM spec Canon flash or one of the high end licensed models? no of course its not but then at around 1/10th of the price of one of those units its fantastic value for money as an entry level unit to get the hang of things, and if at a later date you want to move up to a more capable unit then you wont have wasted a lot of money and you will still have something to use as an emergency spare, the only two real minor critiscms are that the English translation of the operating instructions are appalling and with the adaptor ring fitted you may not be able to fit the dust lens cap in place and will have to take the flash ring off to put it on again but apart from that a great unit for the money.

Great quality machine that will stand the test of time.
5 of 5 found this helpful This model has been around for many years now and with good reason, its a solidly built, heavily engineered and very well designed unit that is probably more like a scaled down commercial machine than a domestic one, and it shows in the build standard, metal framed casing, solid brass portafilter holder and unlike most domestic machines a removeable and replaceable group and showerhead unit.
The machine is also fitted internally with a built in 3 way solenoid valve which allows you to backflush the group head for cleaning purposes, essential maintenance if you intend to get any kind of decent results.
As has been mentioned on previous reviews this is a serious piece of kit and you will need a serious bean grinder to go with it or you just wont get the great results this machine is actually capable of.
Spares and replacement routine items like head gaskets are easily available from a variety of dealers and you even get a parts breakdown schematic in the instructions so if anything does break you can get parts to fix it unlike a lot of the cheaper units out there.
Its very easy to use, only 3 buttons and one rotary knob all very self explanatory, it heats up very quickly and holds that heat well so its easy to get consistent repeatable results but it is a big hefty heavy unit so make sure you check that out when you decide where your going to fit it in the kitchen!
So any problems? well maybe the water tank could have been made a bit bigger, and it would have been nice to have a filter built into the tank but as you can get cartridge filters to attach to the feed line in the tank its no big deal, minor niggles really more than major problems.
So if your serious about good coffee and want a decent machine that will last for years you wont get much better than this in the price range.
