Solid and reliable.
1 of 1 found this helpful It's really heavyweight boom stand. I put my Godox AD 600 at full extension and it holds up well. Of course when balancing weight it's looses a lot of boom distance because it's 2kg(4.4lb) flash. When I boom speedlight then it booms out really far. I have head extensio for AD600 but didn't try it. I believe it will be similar to speedlight with Bowens mount bracket. And when you add umbrella softbox then it gets really spectacular setup. I don't remenber correctly, but it's almost you get 1.80m.(80inch) wide scene for full body shot lit with flash from top with no stand legs in a shot. And ability to crank or to rotate flash with out need to touch sofbox is amazing and works well. This tool made me as excited as I got my first HSS flash AD600. The only thing I would like to have in addition to this product is rotatable handle for lifting stand with boom arm on it. It's pretty heavy to do it. Counterweight is 6kg(13.2lbs.). Stand with boom arm is about 13kg(28.6lbs)
And it's fun to operate this thing because it look like you need to really know what you're doing because it's heavy and wide and has expensive gear on it.

Perfect for beauty dishes
Everything is as described in specifications. Quality is awesome. Enough power for this size flash. Performs reliably. I'm not using it very long.
Another thing I noticed is that this flash is perfect for S bracket with beauty dish. And it's possible to slide it thrue all length of flash and cover bulb behind middle part of beauty dish. And it gives really narrow light source without grid which gave me gridded pattern. On diffusion plastic. So this feature give another parameter which can't be produced by regular flash or speedlight.
