Cuts quick and holds onto the diamonds well.
Great for removing material quickly for reprofiling and chip removal.

Great Cast iron
Even though this is preseasoned. I would advise you to do 3 oven seasonings and season on the stove after every use to keep is nice and non stick as possible. Cooking heat is great and those sears..... Wow.

More of a honing utensil
It's a medium and fine set of ceramic rods. This is what I would call a honing utensil something to keep your knives sharp in between sharpenings. Forget using this for extremely high rockwell steels of 64 plus it just won't cut it.
If your knife has completely lost its edge you will need to purchase stones and learn how to use them or ring a sharpening service.
