Underscale and lacking in details.
1 of 1 found this helpful Another disappointment from Aoshima. Kit is listed as 1/700 scale but is closer to 1/730. Model is also rather lacking in details and not up to todays standards. After waiting nearly 40 years for this class to appear in plastic in 1/700 I have to say it really could have been much better. At least Aoshima could make an effort to get the scale correct.

Trumpeter 1/700 USS Texas
A nice kit, easy to build . Only fault I have with it is the armor belt is wat too thick and needs to be sanded down to shape to look more correct.
