Perfect as long as you aren't a bulky guy.
5 stars from me.The gray is fairly light,like concrete.The lumen in the hands is bright and it is a very light weight watch.A G-Shock with a narrow profile is perfect for me as I reach into a smoker all day and it doesn't snag on racks.The original band will NOT work if you have a wrist larger than 8 and a quarter inches.The strap could be more robust but seems good so far.I like it a good deal but I have no idea why some are selling for 125-250 dollars.It's worth 100 bucks or so.No more than that. I have this in gray and black on black,the A1A model.One for day and one more stylish for night wear.Seriously,don't pay much more than 100 USD for these models.They are great small G-Shocks for an excellent price at 100 or less.

Simple,elegant,functional.
Simple and elegant,but on the smaller side.I'm a narrow fellow and this watch is perfect for me.The giant watch trend is finally winding down and this is a perfect counter to that.If you need to know the time and the date and look good knowing these things,this is the watch for you.No excess.
