Classic quilting resource
Excellent resource. Good information on blocks. Some of the techniques used are out of date.

Christmas favorite
This is the 2nd time I have bought this album. My first copy was lost in a flood last year, and I couldn't do Christmas without it.
I was introduced to Judy Collins through this ON A special and album. Both her narration and her singing are warm and joyous, a pure pleasure.
Highly recommended.

Great material
Carlson's books are some of the best material available on traditional 4-block quilts. My only caution is that this volume repeats the best of the previous 2 volumes without adding a great deal of original material. If you can't find either or both of the first 2 volumes, by all means grab this one!
