Thought provoking but still leaves the BIG questions answered.
I was expecting a lot from this book as the reviews were great. I was slightly disappointed, not in the writing, but in the story. I guess I have been looking for answers for such a long time; ie why are people born gay (sorry that many Christians do not adhere to this idea). David battled with this for a long time and came to the conclusion that his path in life was to honour and serve God and be celibate; although he would have dearly loved a partner and children. I respect his decision but ultimately felt a sadness with this. What about those gay people who could not turn their back on looking for love and wanting a family but their Christian beliefs and faith were still as strong. Lots of answered questions.
