Virtuoso country music as good as it gets
Brad verges on the over sentimental here and there and some of the humour is a bit forced,(especially the 'Buckaroo' tracks at the end!)but his guitar playing is so amazing you would forgive him anything and his songs are very well crafted. He tends to use a little more overdrive/distortion on his guitar on this album than his previous two, showing the 'rockers' what he can do perhaps. The track called 'Timewarp' is a virtuosic romp that is worth the album price on its own. Country music doesn't come any better than this.

Country humour, astounding guitar playing
From excessively sentimental to pure comedy the range of songs is impressive. The guitar playing is as always astounding but from my standpoint as a guitarist I would have liked more of the guitar playing and perhaps less of the slightly 'forced ' humour. If you like Country music this CD will not disappoint.

Caricatures mixed with fascist reality...doesn't work for me.
Might be a great film...I had to turn it off after half an hour, so I don't know! But it was half an hour of my life I regret wasting. The main caricatures..a cliche group of elderly, English expat women, seemed as perplexed as I was....is this a comedy or a serious drama? I decided it was just a mess...I couldn't take it seriously and it didn't make me laugh...As for Cher and her over-acted American millionairess....ugh!!
