A book of jazz inspiration
Lester Young, "The President of the Tenor Saxophone" as Billie Holliday called him, has inspired musicians including Charlie Parker and continues to do so. As an amateur saxophonist, it is great to be able to see and analyse the actual solos he played on so many classic recordings.
