Great router if you flash it to Stock Asus firmware
Inexpensive fast router with lots of features. It's not perfect because if you want to use it you really should flash it to the standard Asus firmware. This unlocks some more features like AI mesh and more importantly gets it a lot more recent firmwares with more fixes for bugs and security issues.The flash process is not too bad but it's certainly not point and click simple.
Unfortunately even the Asus firmwares seem to have reached EOL with them announcing they are stopping development all their AC routers. Probably only critical security updates going forward.
Still a great deal if you are willing to jump through the hoops to flash it.
