Almost a Rip saw-but still good!
It's a sturdy, very sharp saw but not-as advertised a genuine Rip saw as the teeth are not ground at 90 degrees to the direction of cut and it is still pretty hard work ripping Oak.
Hardened teeth cannot be sharpened but it should last a reasonable amount of time and at the price, is very good value.

Restoration Bargain.
It's an old Stanley Block Plane (High angle so Blade goes in upside down) Has quite a lot of pitting in the sole but I enjoy restoring old tools so it is no problem. the rest of it is in very good nick, a dab of oil, here and there and a rub down with oily steel wool and it looks fine. the sole will need at least 1/16th of an inch to lose all of the pitting.
Good price, great plane-I'm 100% happy!
