as a suspension spring in a 1000 day clock it is amazing!
its a suspension spring used in a clock to hold 4 balls that spin.
It does all of this quite well.

A fine instrument in a pretty package
0 of 1 found this helpful it is well constructed, solid and attractive, a beautiful microphone. But looks mean very little when it comes to microphones. This is above all a beautiful sounding devise! i know, a lot of "experts" look at oriental ribbon microphones as somehow being inferior to more expensive microphones. Frankly i think they are idiots! Why in the world would someone pay thousands of dollars for a microphone when a quality mike like this is available? I suppose if they want to spend that kind of money, lt is their choice, not mine.
I understand that this is strictly a "studio" microphone and is meant to be mounted, not hand-held but a little more attention to isolating the mic element from the microphone body would me my only suggestion for improving its quality.
I love the "box" it comes in.

Bose cushions and headband as advertised
I was concerned when i placed the order because of the low cost of the ear cushions, far
less than I thought it would be.
The cushions came on time and were exactly the part I needed. I could not be happier
