New World Oven Control Knob - Stainless Steel Finish NW70DO
    12 Feb, 2020
    Great knobs!
A good fit for my fairly old Stoves/New World double oven - much better than the 'generic' ones with the inner adaptors (which left us turning the grill on and off with pliers because they just skidded around the spindle). They do have a slightly 'plasticky' feel and look to them but they fit well.
For Dyson DC07 DC14 & DC04 Motor YDK Type Brand New Boxed 240v

DC07 now fixed and working again!
Ah, that terrible smell of burning and the noise like a helicopter...yes, Rex (the Sugababes of Dyson DC07s) had motor problems. Despite the best efforts of Him Indoors to persuade me it was time to buy a new one, I found this replacement on ebay and for the money, reckoned it was worth a gamble (buoyed up by reassurances from the guys in the electronics workshop at work that they'd bail me out if I messed it up...) But hey! I did it. There are some great video and pictorial guides out there (thank you, espares, thank you dysonmedic) with step by step guides to dismantling and remantling your machine. Don't forget to buy a couple of longish Torx screwdrivers too.The whole process took me just over 2 hours - would have been quicker but I stupidly missed the 5th screw and spent ages wobbling the casing around despite being stuck fast. Doh! And my switch was a bit tricksy to remove and reassemble - there's a fine line between sufficient force and 12-year-old brittle plastic tabs snapping off but there weren't any major casualties. The new motor is so much smoother and less noisy - would highly recommend this item!
