Great book on jazz rhythm guitar
Just getting started with the book, but here are my initial impressions.
The book provides a lot of good fundamentals for learning jazz rhythm guitar.
The author, Jack Grassel, is a very experienced jazz guitarist.
He describes the different roles the guitarist must fulfill in a jazz ensemble,
and the different sounds the guitarist might want to use.
The sections on reading and interpreting rhythms will be quite valuable.
The CD which is included really helps with learning and practicing.
