Strong elegant design and studied Japanese craftsmanship ,Seiko Lord Marvel unites from and function in style.
The Seiko Lord Marvel is the first high quality model released by Seiko designed to compete with high end Swiss watches such a sRolex and Omega. This is the highest quality model in the range denoted by the small eight point stat symbol on the dial. The watch although used and 65 years old has a near perfect dial , crystal and runs exceptionally well from a beautifully designed movement that is essentially the same as the later Grand Seiko first design. Apart from two small cuts in the rear of the watch case , it is perfect and these can’t be felt or noticed at all unless looked for . The case is 14 ct gold filled to 80 microns which is very much thicker than heave gold plate , and lasts a lifetime , the indices are all 18ct solid gold batons. It’s has a beautiful two tone handmade leather strap that perfectly suits the gold of the case and dial . All together it is s beautiful , truly elegant classic watch that doesn’t need to shout its presence or weigh my wrist down to feel it is made with a craftsman’s skill and care . A great purchase that has caused me to revise all my preconceptions about vintage Seiko watches . This can compete with any Swiss design all day long .

It’s a lock and a chain .
It has a seemingly strong enough lock to hold the chain . It’s easy to screw in and attach the chain holder . I am sure anyone determined will be able to break the screws out of the plastic bin but it acts as a good way to deter someone. The only downside is that the price of £15.99 is a high price for a small padlock and twelve inches of light chain and holder. But if it saves me a £100 fine from the council determined to farm taxes from other peoples rubbish dumped in my bin then its perhaps saved me from this .

Basic information . I thought it was a larger book than it is , basically a magazine . Ok for a basis introduction to ceramics of the period but little else
