On of the best books about Medieval French Art in English
A very comprehensive, detailed and professionally written study of medieval, late Roman and Gothic, French art. Mainly architecture, but also a bit of information about stained glass, jewelry, sculpture and enamel. A lot of photographic illustrations and, generally, a very good read to all admirers of Medieval Art!

Excellent travel tripod for DSLR
Vanguard was always an excellent producer of good designed, good quality and rather cheap tripods for the needs of both professional and amateur photographers. This is my third tripod from Vanguard, and, as in case with the previous two, this one appeared no exception. I wanted to have compact and lightweight travel tripod that could easily fit my one-day trip backpack and hold my D7100 with 24-120 nikkor zoom (my travel DSLR kit). Vanguard VEO does the job very well, exactly what I wanted! Excellent quality, everything holds strong and steady. Unusual design with central column that is folded inside the tripod allows to fit the tripod into small 40 by 10 cm case!
Cannot say that the tripod does not have any weaks. First, the price is higher compared to the "non-travel" and less compact tripods of the same quality range. Second, compact size has its limitations. It does hold well my camera, and, even holds D800 rather well, but not with long telephoto lenses like 70-200. Here it reaches its limits, however, the result is still quite acceptable. But, for a small-size tripod like this the result is anyway exceptional.
