A great buy. I recommend it.
1 of 2 found this helpful While I found this product fairly easy to hook up, there were/are some issues with it.
I have a TCL 4K model #55S405 Roku TV 7105X, and when trying to hook up the receiver using ARC, the audio portion would not come through while using the streaming channels on the TV. I was told by Onkyo tech support that I had to obtain an E-HDMI cable for it to work right. Absolutely nothing like this is stated in either the manual that comes with the unit, or on the Pioneer website. I even purchased an optical cable and hooked up that, to no avail. Finally, I turned off the ARC, and it worked fine, but it took me a couple of days trying every combination to get it to work right.
Also, the Bluetooth hook up is far less than stellar, as it continuously sounds like it is buffering when I connect either my PC or phone to it, and they are less than 10 feet away in direct visual contact.
Also, I wish I could directly load my Napster/Rhapsody account straight to my receiver.
