used one for years

My recent purchase is an exact replacement for the one that I wore out. Menus are easy. Only drawback is the rubber cushion covering the edge--glue will seperate after a year of daily use--currently reglueing with rubber cement. Newer versions are waaay more complicated than they should be for geocaching--dropping a $40 unit off a cliff doesn't hurt as much as a $150 unit.

HARD TO ALIGN BUTTON TO MICROSWITCH

The adhesive is not strong and button's edge keeps lifting away from the body. The rubber stud of the button that pushes the micro switch is too narrow--very hard to line up directly over the microswitch. It is better than electrical tape and the tip of a pencil eraser that I was using before.
