My assessment

I saw several questions about these and how they compared to the Schliech models as they looked very similar. As I had the Triceratops and all three were less than the price of a single Schliech model I decided to try them. The Triceratops is not as cleanly made, the paint finish is not as good, the body is slightly slimmer, the tail ends rather abruptly and the horns are almost touching at the tips.The T. rex and Spinosaurus show some slight distortion/twisting in the muzzle and the overall feel is a little rough. If these had been given to my 7 year old self (I am now 63) would I have been happy? - absolutely, I would have been in Dinosaur heaven. Put in my display cabinet now - placed the right way they would look fine but I would know there were problems so hopefully will eventually replace with the "original" models, once I've collected the rest! My advice - if you are buying for a child who is mad on Dinosaurs they are fantastic value. If you are collecting display models and are on a tight budget, go for it. If you can afford the Schliech , Papo, Collect A etc. Products go with them. It's all down to why you want them and your budget.
