Does the job
Fitting the hose was very straightforward, and it works well enough. The attachments need a bit more pressure to make them click into place than they did with the original hose. Also, the hose doesn't stretch quite as far as the original: I can't quite get to the top of the stairs with it, like I could with the previous one. It also feels slightly less flexible, but this may change with time. However, for the money it's good enough!
Will it last longer than the original (7 years)? Possibly not, but for now it's fine.
