Perfectly factory set mm perfect ready to go.
The table is flat mm perfect made of what seems like mag alloy and secondary fence opens up to approx. 630mm. The machine is perfectly factory set and ready to go. The dust extraction is spot on and my saw came with a state of the art blade guard which allows you to see the blade when cutting. Also the stop button can be pressed by lifting your left leg which is reassuring. Also I would recommend the factory stand. (must read safety manual to be good to go).

Easy to use, accurate and excellent value for money
You can see the laser dot clearly through the view finder; it appears like a projected image so you can always see the dot whatever the range is. However I have found if the targeted object is small you need a steady hand for distanced around 120m but you can take a point between and measure each way using the + button. I feel if the target was large you could achieve greater distances, 200m + freehand but a small target over greater distance would require a tripod. The measurements are very accurate and can be trusted.
Overall I am very please with the GLM 250VF which has far exceeded my expectations. Excellent value for money.

Solid tool with sound motor control.
1 of 1 found this helpful Solid tool with sound motor control. The air intake ports have mesh filters which can be cleaned. Also motor speeds can be selected and motor increases under load. The stop brake saves time when switching off and is a good safety feature if the blade jams or brakes when cutting.
