Brilliant and takes up less space l
Brilliant and takes up less space than a conventional strainer or plate cover. Wonderful tool.

Crumbs!
My wife wanted this item to cut our home made bread on. Assembly is easy but it has too many plastic pieces that move about causing the back to fall off. I tried taping the three plastic pieces together but when cutting the bread the pointed end of the knife often struck the opposite plastic upright.
Conclusion; OK if you have a long bladed cutting knife that stays within the cutting guides.
I removed the flimsy plastic guides and my wife uses the base to cut our bread on, at least it collects a lot of the crumbs.
