The perfect companion for a BB phone
I have a Blackberry 9900 and travel usually a lot (not necessarily on the plane, but train is usual). I needed something to read e-mails and give short answers, as well as read attachments (PDF and DOC, as usual). I have an Asus Transformer, a very nice piece also, but did not quite fit into my workflow (and does not have a 3G module). The Playbook is - IMHO - the most underratet device currently. I had my share of experience with Android and iOS devices, and for me, the Playbook has one critical advantage - it simply works. No sudden restarts, no slowing down, no software incompatibilities, no connection problems with the BB 9900. (I might have had luck, but this is my experience). Paired with a BB phone, this little device is perfect for travels and meetings - and does its job very efficiently. If you have no BB phone, this is probably not your tablet - but if you have a BB phone with BIS or BES service, you can't get more work done with any other tablet (and some movies fit also into that 16 GB).

True workhorse, Great value.
In its current (used) price class, you can't get any better than this fancy little unit. USB2 makes the connection painless and possible to any current computer (previous scanners did only have SCSI, and that is a pain to connect to a notebook, or for that matter, to almost any computer aside of workstations). The software ScandALL from Fujitsu has tons of options (which take some time to master, not always an easy task) - but this is the first scanner software I have that truely does what it should - on the single press of a button save a scanned image with predefined parameters to a predefined place. So fuss, just instand results. I own two other units from Fujitsu, the bigger brother 5530C (for A3 scanning) and the younger sibling, 6130C (which is faster and looking more up-to-date). I have made literally thousands of scans with the units, without any problems. True production workhorses for real work enviroment. Forget HP, forget Canon, if you want something that works, take this.
