OK item & Price, FLGR Fit Colt 9mm, GREAT. BUT ~1/32" too long for my 4 Para 1911s, need to cut or file to fit.
1 of 3 found this helpful OK item, Great Price, Smooth surfaces on mine. This is FLGR for normal large round springs, not for flat springs which req. thin guide rod. This FLGR FIT GREAT in my Colt 9mm. BUT ~1/32" too long to work in Para 1911s: 14.45, 16.40, 18.9. Can not install in Para due to excess length interfering with bushing, would have to cut or file ~1/32 off small muzzle end and/or file the extra large joint at end of large link end. Worked GREAT in my Colt 9mm Govt. NOT in PARA Govt doublestacks. ONE MORE THING, this is two piece construction with a raised shank where link end slides over the rod. Near the link end the recoil spring must slide over the shank. The double wrapped end of a tight spring will not slide all the way down the rod to the link end, I reversed the spring so the unwound end rides on the link end and the double wrapped spring end goes into the cap, which is actually correct.

This LED is NOT as bright as regular incandescent 27 watt #1156 bulb.
This LED is NOT as bright as regular incandescent 27 watt #1156 bulb. It is very white. . Probably also sets off burned out bulb warning due to very low current draw. I haven't found an LED bulb is brighter than regular 27 wall #1156 bulb which outputs ~400 lumens at 1200 hours life. This LED has standard BA15s single contact bayonet base.
There is a incandescent 30, 35, & 50 watt bulbs but the glass is up to ~50% larger, than #1156 S-8 glass size & shape, which makes the 50 watt unable to fit through hole into my backup light assembly. The 50 watt bulb also may melt plastic lenses if too close or in small closed space.
