A great title.
1 of 1 found this helpful It's wonderful to have a complete collection of Zenna Henderson's People stories in one p lace. She was a marvelous and inventive writer and one of the very first woman Sci-Fi writers. Zenna Henderson was an amazing woman--for a lifetime, a teacher of children, a lover of Arizona, and a woman who overcame many obstacles in her life. There was nothing naive about Zenna Henderson--she was a Millennial Writer--she saw life as it could be.

Ralph Moody does it again with this Southwestern Setting--Exiting!
Another great book in Ralph Moody's Little Britches series of biographies of his growing up years. The old west in its changing years, just after WWII. Ralph's health sends him back to his beloved west, but finding a job in the post-war depressed ranch country is next to impossible. Never defeated by circumstances, Ralph overcomes almost insurmountable problems in his win/win way again. Thoroughly enjoyed his travels through southeastern Arizona (our home country), New Mexico and Texas as the "Cowboy Artist of the Southwest." How I wish some of those busts he made could be located! Our children grew up with this series of books, and I am convinced that they played no small part in their success as hard working, innovative adults. Better than the Little House series by far. Great family values.
