Delicate, but very detailed
I was surprised with the level of detail when I opened this kit. The parts were neatly laid out and very well packaged. One thing not specified about this kit is that you can choose whether to build it with landing gear up or fully extended. There are parts for both configurations, so no modifications are necessary. There are actually two separate markings included with the model (the other one being for a Soviet plane) which are included on a water slide decal sheet. The decals appear to be in good condition, though I did not end up using them. I can't stress enough that this model is for EXPERIENCED MODEL BUILDERS ONLY. If you have no experience with handling and gluing tiny parts, this is not the model for you. That being said, if you do have experience with small scale/micro scale builds, this is an excellent kit to add to your collection. Between being prepainted and requiring very little assembly, this model can easily be done, decals and all, in under an hour. A great compliment to any 1/144 collection, even a diecast collection (I bought it to compliment a Smithsonian F-4). It's a great little kit, well worth the price, and if you have enough precision and patience, you can truly make an impressive build out of it.

Great easy-to-build model
This product is great for any young aviation enthusiast. It assembles like a Lego set, but the finished product looks like a scale model. I bought this to practice painting and weathering techniques, and it worked perfectly. The only problem I had with this model is that the propeller can easily be knocked off, and you have to remove several pieces to put it back on; as such, I wouldn't say it has as much playability as a Lego set. It is still primarily for display, but it is durable. The kit is approximately 1:46 scale and is very accurately molded, so any 1:48 scale P-51 decals would go great on the model. Overall, a great product for any fan of the proud P-51 Mustang.

Great for Z28 Fans
I just started getting into muscle cars, and I immediately fell in love with the Camaro (Sorry, Mustang guys). My favorite year is 1979, probably because of Billy's sweet ride from Stranger Things (which isn't technically a Z28, but whatever, it's close enough). After being unsatisfied with Jada's 1/24 scale Camaro based on the Netflix show, I opted for a more professional (and sizeable) addition to my collection.
This car is a rare find, but if you can get your hands on one, be sure to pick it up. It looks great on display, and features excellent detailing and proportions. I guarantee you'll spend the first hour you have this thing just opening the doors and hood, repositioning the front wheels, and just generally being in awe.
If you or someone you know is a big-time fan of muscle cars from the late 70's (and there aren't many), this would make a great Christmas/birthday/father's day gift.
