Well worth the time
Love this series. Has it's fair share of humour and bantering to lighten up the serious stuff. Never at all boring. Also the transitions between changes of the characters when they are written out are so smooth that the show carries on, and you like the new ones so quickly that you barely think about missing the old ones. I would highly recommend "New Tricks" to anyone who enjoys detective/cop shows.
