Check Your Requirement Before You Buy
0 of 2 found this helpful I was looking for a chain saw that could cope with cutting through the stems of a privet hedge, some were up to 4" in diameter others just stwigs. The machine itself looks and appears well made and robust and whilst refurbished, for me it was really good value. On arrival I found the oil resevoir drained unfortunately all over the instruction manual, but on the positive, it was also supplied with a spare chain.
In operation it it is light and easy to handle, but simply could not cope with the larger stems, and so I had to resort to a hand saw to deal, it also over heated very quickly and consumed the oil at a very quick rate. Overall I am disappointed and would say, if this was for trimming small branches then fine but otherwise buy or hire a petrol version with a blade and moor able to cope

CUT BEFORE YOU BUY
It is what it is as our American cousins would say. I purchased a large quanity of the sheets to be cut into smaller squares. The supplier was unwilling/unable to cut for me, so the sheets were rolled and sent to me. They arrived as promised so all looked good. I was aware it would be rolled, but unfortunately this then meant cutting was a nightmare on the jig and production was slowed, it took far longer than it should, some even had to binned as they simply would not lay flat.
