Great for the price

A little over-sensitive. It thought all my studs were 2.5" wide, but there was always wood in the center. I found I could push harder against the wall while turning it on to decrease it's sensitivity. Very repeatable. It always put studs in the same spots. It seems to turn the light off a little slow, so you want to sweep back and forth a few times, only marking where the light turns ON, and ignoring where it turns off. Came with a cheap zinc-carbon battery, but used this to meticulously find 40 studs and the battery is still working.

Great value

Works great. Nice images even in pitch dark. The app you install on your phone is a little clunky, but gets the job done. The infrared LED's are slightly visible, and stay on whenever the room is dark. Nice that anyone breaking into your house knows there's a camera, but can scare the kids if you're using it as a baby monitor. Would be nice if the cord were longer and if the hinge to the base was stiffer so the camera doesn't fall over.
